The Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance at Bates College is a community-wide event. No classes are held and students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend workshops and speakers to discuss, teach, and reflect on the legacy of civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr.

I worked in partnership with the MLK Day committee to create a visual identity for the 2025 event based on the year’s theme. The process began with a poster which was adapted for multiple sizes and uses, both print and digital.
